The Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) presents the District 5 Honors Jazz Ensembles Concert in the Ford Recital Hall at the DeYor Performing Arts Center. The three Honors Jazz Ensembles are made up of some of the best music students in grades 7 through 12 from Ashtabula, Mahoning, and Trumbull Counties. Guest conductor, Christopher Coles from the University of Akron Jazz Department. The Ohio Music Education Association espouses a philosophy of music education that values musical/artistic experiences for every citizen.
