The Ohio Federation of Music Clubs’ Festival Program, under the umbrella of The National Federation of Music Clubs Festivals Program is designed to give Junior (age 18 and younger) and Adult member musicians of all abilities the opportunity to perform and receive a yearly evaluation in a non-competitive environment. Participation in Festivals promotes music study, stimulates interest in the musical literature of both the USA and the world, and encourages each participant to reach a high standard of musical achievement.
Each year, junior and adult members participate in their District’s Festival. Each member is evaluated on their individual merits. Over 140 solo and ensemble events are available to participants.
A member achieving Superior rating, in three consecutive years (in any instrument or vocal event) is invited to play in the district’s Honor Recital.
